Diamond FX 30 gram split cakes are small split cakes with multiple face paint colours placed next to each other. These products are also known as rainbow cakes and are commonly used for one stroke face painting. All colours are loaded at once with a flat brush to create multicolour strokes.

Use / tips

Use a flat brush, straight or angled. Lightly spray water onto the split cake and move the brush back and forth across the colours until evenly loaded.

For Diamond FX split cakes and rainbow cakes, use different sizes of flat split cake brushes:

• Size 1 inch – extra wide strokes
• Size 3/4 – perfect for large strokes
• Size 5/8 – one of the most commonly used sizes
• Size 1/2 – for smaller shapes and details
